What Is It?
TightVNC Java Viewer is a program able to view and control TightVNC and VNC servers. Like a
normal VNC viewer, it shows the remote desktop and allows to operate with your local mouse
and keyboard as if they were directly connected to the remote computer. It can be used either
as a standalone program, or as an applet embedded in a Web page.
April 21, 2010 – TightVNC presents new experimental release of TightVNC
Java Viewer (version 1.5.1) which supports built-in SSH tunneling. This means you can easily
add encryption and strong authentication to all your VNC and TightVNC connections and close
direct access to TightVNC ports.
TightVNC Java Viewer is available under the terms of the GNU General Public License.
